New Interaction Design and Game Level Development Diploma Program Approved

We are excited to announce that our application to run a new diploma program has been accepted!

Starting in April, Guru Digital Arts College will offer the Interaction Design and Game Level Development Diploma alongside its current flagship Digital Media Production Diploma. This new program will focus on the skills and knowledge used by Interaction Designers and Game Level Developers.

Game design and Interaction design share a common heritage. Both start with questions that look at how to engage the user/player. How to ensure the user/player is able to accomplish their goals, but challenged enough to ensure that they are engaged. The similarities continue from there.

This program is intended to develop the thinking skills along with the code development skills that professionals in these fields. Think of it as the digital media equivalent of the skills an Industrial Designer needs.
