We had the opportunity to sponsor an interesting event this weekend. One that gathered a group together that I was surprised to learn were strange bedfellows. Social media and traditional (mainstream) media. I was only able to participate in the afternoon, but from what I heard, the whole day was challenging and invigorating.
The User Experience Book Club, this month, had the privilege of interviewing the author of "Information Architecture: Blueprints for the Web," (a good review of the book) Christina Wodtke. She had many interesting things to say that echoed her perspective shared in her book. She also said something that rang like a bell in my mind.

Hi, I used to be a PC, and am now a Mac, and proud of it!
I recently purchased a Mac and had about 3 weeks to get used to it. I thought, considering the press event that is scheduled for Wednesday, I would go over some of the benefits that I have noticed in my Mac compared to my PC. As well, I will cover some of the rumors that hopefully will be set straight on Wednesday. I am not going to go through all the technical stuff. All the points that I bring up in this blog are from personal experience up to now.
